This project marks the beginning of a new chapter in the career of one of the most distinctive young artists on the contemporary art scene.

The last two years have been a breakthrough period for the Chicago-based artist. He served as the official opening act on Ken Carson’s The Chaos Tour, signed with Interscope, received numerous endorsements, and gained growing popularity in the media. All of this led to a hype train racing at breakneck speed and mainstream recognition. The Face wrote about Hollis, calling him “an angel sent from the heavens of Rick Owens.”

The artist has managed to develop a fresh and unique style that blends hyperpop, electroclash, witch house, rage, and complextro. Add to that an incredibly intriguing backstory that draws inspiration not only from Minecraft and the musical era of the 2010s, but also from medieval aesthetics—which has already garnered an instant cult following among many fans.  “Hypebeast” named him one of “the fastest-rising artists of today,” and Stereogum summed it up succinctly: “This is his moment!”
