This year, Poland's largest festival of comics, electronic entertainment and board games - after pandemic restrictions - is back to inviting foreign guests for good. Undoubtedly, the biggest star of the September event will be the creator of the festival's poster illustrations Kim Jung Gi. At the festival you will also be able to meet Polish authors living permanently in Belgium - Zbigniew "Kas" Kasprzak and Grazyne "Graze" Foltyn-Kasprzak (Kas is a cartoonist of, among others, "Yans", "Halloween Blues" and "Shooting Star Marilyn Monroe", Graza is an acclaimed comic book colorist).

Festival audiences have already become accustomed to a program that consists of more than a dozen elements. This year will be no different. Waiting for the audience will be: meetings with comic book creators from all over the world; autograph zone, where authors draw dedications in purchased comic books; comic book fair, which is extremely popular among both exhibitors and customers - you can buy the latest comic books from the country and the world and find real white ravens among antiquarian comics; hands-on workshops with famous cartoonists and scriptwriters; exhibitions, lectures, panel discussions, premieres, competitions - including cosplay contests and the festival awards gala, during which Comixus and the Humoris Causa award are presented. Papcia Chmiel (author of "Titus, Romek and A'Tomek").

A new feature will be a literary zone dedicated to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien with a special cosplay contest relating to the writer's works. The zone and the contest will be organized by Zysk and S-ka Publishing House.

The computer, console and board game zone will be larger than last year, with a theoretical block filled with meetings with researchers and game developers. The 33rd MFKiG will offer interactive stands for supporters of both older and modern gaming platforms, as well as a rich content-related program, filled with discussions on the heritage and prospects of Polish gamedev. In the "retro" section we will focus on the rivalry between successive generations of Sega and Nintendo consoles, which peaked in the 1990s. There will be an opportunity to grab a pad and see for yourself what advantages the devices of these companies had. Those who prefer more up-to-date hardware solutions will get the latest computers and consoles at their disposal, as well as a chance to compete against other amateurs of recreational games. For the best there will be attractive prizes in kind. Lovers of dance games and virtual reality will also have room to show off. The competition on screens will be accompanied by lectures and discussions, with the participation of journalists, researchers, independent developers and representatives of the country's top gamedev.
