“To my fans in Europe and the UK,
I have some unfortunate news to share with you all regarding my UK and European dates. I have had to make the difficult decision to postpone this tour until 2023. Due to the ongoing issues surrounding the pandemic, there are a series of travel and venue restrictions from country to country that have made it impossible to carry out the tour. It’s not an easy decision, but it’s one that will help ensure that we are able to play every single date of the tour, put on the best show possible at full capacity, and operate in a safe environment. It really breaks my heart to have to do this, but I know it will be worth the wait.

Avril Lavigne is returning to Poland! The popular Canadian singer will visit our country again after nearly 14 years and will perform on March 2, 2022, at the Atlas Arena in Łódź.
She has countless hits to her credit and has sold over 90 million albums worldwide. Avril Lavigne, who enjoys great popularity in our country, will perform in Poland again, 14 years after her last concert. On March 2, 2022, she will perform in Łódź at Atlas Arena. This will be Lavigne’s third performance in Poland—the first took place in 2005, and the next in 2008.
Avril’s career began in 2002, when her debut album, *Let Go*, was released. It was promoted by singles such as “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi,” and “I’m with You.” The singer quickly won the hearts of listeners around the world, who identified with her music and lyrics. The album allowed her to conquer the American market, selling sixteen million copies, making Lavigne the best-selling artist of 2002.
Subsequent albums like *Under My Skin* and *The Best Damn Thing* only solidified her position on the global stage. While the former was filled with a heavier, rock sound and featured very personal lyrics (“My Happy Ending,” “Nobody’s Home”), the latter marked a radical change in the artist’s style. The promotional single “Girlfriend” became a hit in Poland as well as around the world. The album achieved Gold Record status in Poland.
To date, Avril Lavigne has released six studio albums; in addition to those mentioned earlier, these include *Goodbye Lullaby* (2011), *Avril Lavigne* (2013), and *Head Above Water* (2019), which concludes her discography. The singer has also written songs for the films “Eragon” (“Keep Holding On”) and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland.”
In recent years, the artist has collaborated with Nicki Minaj, We The Kings, MOD SUN, YUNGBLUD, and Willow Smith, with whom she released the single “G R O W” featuring Travis Barker in October 2021. Her YouTube channel has accumulated over 5 billion views.
