Progressive metal giants Dream Theater are returning to Poland! The American group with the cult lineup of Portnoy, Petrucci, LaBrie, Myung and Rudess will check in at Lodz's Atlas Arena on November 3, where they will celebrate their 40th anniversary.
The prog metal pioneers, in their already nearly 40-year history, boast quite a list of accomplishments. More than 15 million records sold, 3 Grammy nominations (including one win - two years ago in the Best Metal Performance category), the place of the album "Images & Words" in the ranking of 100 metal albums of all time according to Rolling Stones are of course only some of them, but the Americans seem not to think about slowing down. With each passing year they strengthen the monument they are building, and the current one will not be an exception to this norm. After more than a decade of separation, legendary drummer Mike Portnoy has returned to the lineup, and with him on board Dream Theater are working on their 16th album. The turn of 2024 and 2025 promises to be extremely exciting for the band, so all those who appreciate virtuosity in music, subtle and predatory melodies clashing with each other and a masterful groove should turn up on November 3 in Lodz's Atlas Arena to pompously celebrate the band's round, beautiful anniversary!
