Lodz will once again become the volleyball capital of the world in 2025!

It's going to be a hot summer! The finals of the Women's Volleyball League of Nations will be held in 2025 in Lodz's Atlas Arena.

Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of the City of Lodz, and Sebastian Świderski, President of the Polish Volleyball Federation, announced that the finals of the Women's Volleyball Nations League, will be played at Atlas Arena. The best volleyball teams will be seen live from July 23 to 27, 2025.

In June, the eyes of the whole world were focused on Lodz. The men's Volleyball League of Nations was played in Atlas Arena and our national team won bronze. However, this is not the end of volleyball emotions. In our city the League of Nations will be played again only that the women's one. Our female volleyball players will face the best teams in the world in the final tournament. - Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Lodz, said.

Lodz has been an invaluable partner of Polish Volleyball for years, and the city has hosted the biggest volleyball events. The history of this long-standing cooperation dates back to matches of the Polish national team still played in the Sports Hall on Skorupki Street. And in 2009, the inaugural event at the opening of Atlas Arena was the match between Poland and Brazil. In the same year, the hall hosted the fortunate European Championships for Polish volleyball players, at which the Polish national team won bronze medals.

This will not only be a great sports spectacle, but also a unique opportunity to promote our city and attract the attention of a wide audience, both domestic and foreign. I am sure that Atlas Arena will once again rise to the challenge and fans from all over the world will take part in an amazing sports spectacle. Our hall, has hosted the biggest sporting events and the best musicians from around the world. This year was a record-breaking year for our hall and next year here I can probably already reveal a little secret will be even better and part of it will of course be the Volleyball Nations League. I would also like to thank the PZPS authorities for their trust. This is another great volleyball event in our city. Lodz has become the capital of volleyball. - Hanna Zdanowska Mayor of Lodz added.

The red and white colors are a regular visitor to Atlas Arena, cheering the volleyball players and volleyball players to battle for medals. In 2025 in Lodz, another chapter of the volleyball saga will be written.

- We are happy that for another year we can be here and play such a great tournament. We make no secret of the fact that our ladies, who in previous years won bronze medals in the VNL, will be able to compete in front of our fans in this beautiful facility. We hope that they will again stand on the podium and we will be able to celebrate together another success of our women's national team. - said Sebastian Świderski, president of the Polish Volleyball Federation

- We sincerely thank the mayor of the city and the Marshal's Office for another joint tournament. We feel great in Lodz and come back like home, and we associate this city and this hall with very good results of both female and male national teams. We hope that in 2025 it will be similar and that this will be just a stopover for what is to come in the future," added Jacek Sęk, Vice President and Secretary General of PZPS.

Ticket sales will begin in spring 2025 and will be conducted through the eBilet platform. For each match day, there will be several thousand tickets available for purchase. When looking for tickets to the event, it is advisable to use only official sales channels, such as atlasarena.co.uk and ebilet.co.uk, to avoid the risk of fraud.

Recently, Atlas Arena hosted a number of volleyball tournaments. Topping the list was the 2024 Volleyball Nations League finals, during which our volleyball players won bronze medals. The facility also brought good luck to the Polish women in 2023 during the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games. Polish volleyball players then won Olympic qualification, the first in 16 years. It was also at the Atlas Arena that the Red and White advanced to the top four of the 2019 European Championships and the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Championships. Lodz is also the home of volleyball in the club season, with two clubs thriving in the city - PGE Grot Budowlani Lodz and ŁKS Commercecon Lodz.
