The “INTEGRACJA JP II” Foundation, based in Łódź at 24/26 Marshal Smigiel-Rydz Avenue, is organizing a charity concert for children titled: “Mikolajki 2019 – an integration concert for people with disabilities.” The concert will take place at Atlas Arena in Łódź on December 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. The concert will feature both children with disabilities (blind, visually impaired, hard of hearing, and deaf), as well as able-bodied children from educational centers and community daycare centers in the Łódź Province, and children from the poorest families in the Łódź metropolitan area, who, together with their parents and guardians, will be able to participate in this event.
The event will feature performances by: the Centrum Usmiechu Theater, the Daj To Glosniej band, the Jazz Folk Dance troupe, Artists with Disabilities, Marlena Karwacka, and Marysia Dutkiewicz.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of Archbishop Grzegorz Rys, Metropolitan of Łódź; Ms. Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź; and
Mr. Grzegorz Schreiber, Marshal of the Łódź Province.
The concert is funded by the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, administered by the Łódź Province.
