Statement Regarding the Organization of the Seventh Edition of LÓDZ DISCO FEST in 2020
Dear Łódź Disco Fest Fans!
The reality of recent weeks has proven to be unforgiving for guests and organizers of large-scale entertainment events. In light of the evolving epidemic situation in Poland, including the designation of the city of Łódź (the city of Łódź with county rights) as a so-called “red zone” pursuant to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of October 16, 2020 (Item 1829), but above all out of concern for the greater good, which is our shared safety—as a responsible organizer of entertainment events—we have made a fully considered decision to postpone the seventh edition of the event known as Łódź Disco Fest until 2021.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we hereby announce that there will be no Łódź Disco Fest in 2020; however, we are also convinced that the safety of you —our guests, as well as all our partners and artists involved in organizing this event, without whom this festival would not have reached its seventh edition—is of the utmost importance.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your support so far! The words of encouragement we’ve received from all over Poland are motivating us to redouble our efforts in preparing for the seventh edition of Łódź Disco Fest in 2021.
We would also like to inform you that tickets purchased for Łódź Disco Fest 2020 remain valid. They can be used to attend next year’s event, titled Łódź Disco Fest, scheduled for November 13, 2021. Detailed terms and conditions regarding the use of tickets purchased for this year’s Łódź Disco Fest in 2021 will be announced shortly.
