"The Housekeeper" at the drive-in theater in front of Atlas Arena

On August 6, 2026, the parking lot in front of Atlas Arena will once again be transformed into a drive-in theater. As part of Moto Polówka, the film *The Help*, directed by Paul Feig, will be shown on the big screen. Admission to the event is free.

Moto Polówka 2026 – Free Drive-In Movie Theater

The parking lots in front of Atlas Arena and Moto Arena will once again be transformed into a drive-in theater. As part of the TME “Polówka” Summer Film Festival, Moto Polówka is taking place—a series of eight free film screenings organized in front of the Municipal Arena of Culture and Sports in Łódź.

What is the TME “Polówka” Summer Film Festival?

The TME “Polówka” Summer Film Festival is the largest free outdoor film festival in Poland, held in Łódź since 2008. This year’s edition will run from June 30 to September 30, 2026, and will feature at least 160 film screenings at 20 locations throughout the city.

One of the festival's sections is Moto Polówka, which once again invites viewers to drive-in movie screenings held in front of Atlas Arena and Moto Arena.

How does a drive-in movie theater work?

Moto Polówka is inspired by the concept of classic drive-in theaters. Participants watch the movie from their own cars, while the soundtrack is broadcast via radio waves.

Simply park your vehicle in the designated spot, then tune your car radio to the frequency provided by the organizers.
