All food truck enthusiasts, lovers of unique cuisine, and fans of outdoor fun should mark the second weekend of May on their calendars. That’s when the largest and tastiest food truck festival in the Łódź region kicks off: Wielka Szama in Łódź.
Wielka Szama is the second edition of the Food Truck Festival, which has established itself as a fixture on Poland’s culinary map and draws crowds of visitors seeking both new and classic flavors.
The Great Feast is going to be truly grand—nearly 50 food trucks from all over Poland will be taking part in the event. It’s the largest food truck gathering in the region. The best, most popular with customers, serving the tastiest dishes—exactly these restaurants on wheels will be at Atlas Arena on May 11 and 12.
Festival-goers will be able to sample exotic Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mexican cuisine, as well as specialties from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the United States. The Great Food Court will certainly have no shortage of street food classics: french fries, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and perfectly cooked burgers. Connoisseurs can also look forward to dishes such as pastrami, steamed dumplings, Dutch kapsalon, Hungarian langos, burritos, pad thai, bao, shrimp, and much more.
Wielka Szama isn't just about a wide selection of great food. It's also a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends.
We’ve prepared plenty of attractions for festival visitors. Those interested can take part in cooking competitions or test their skills in outdoor games. And for those who, after eating, just want to relax—you’ll find what you’re looking for with some music in the chill-out zone. Meanwhile, our youngest guests will have fun in a special play area with an animator. And that’s not all! We’ll reveal more soon.
Join us at Wielka Szame on May 11–12. The food truck festival will run from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday. Admission is free.
