XXII Lodz Education Fair

On March 13 - 14, 2019 Lodz will turn into a center of educational events. The XXII Lodz Education Fair will be held in the Atlas Arena hall at 7 Bandurskiego Avenue. The organizers of the event are the Municipal Arena of Culture and Sports in Lodz, and the co-organizers are the Education Department of the Lodz City Hall and the Lodz Center for Teacher Training and Practical Education. The previous edition of the fair was attended by 110 exhibitors and nearly 12 thousand visitors from Lodz and the Lodz region.

Numerous exhibitors will present their offer during the fair: schools of various types, including specialized and general high schools, vocational schools, universities from all over the country, centers for extracurricular education, dance schools, travel agencies and manufacturers and distributors of teaching materials.

The space of the Lodz Education Fair will be divided into thematic zones such as: Educational Zone rich in offers from universities, general and vocational schools and high schools; Innovative School Salon - space for exhibitors with innovative teaching materials, resources and aids in their offer, with particular emphasis on educational computer programs and multimedia equipment for school laboratories; Career Zone - allowing direct contact with potential employers offering internship programs and cooperating with vocational schools; Creativity and Development Zone presenting companies motivating to seek a path of further creative development.

The fair abounds in interesting accompanying events, the idea of which was to instill in young people an interest in science and to prove that it is an interesting and developing area of life. For the second time during the Lodz Education Fair, a specially prepared zone will host Practical Vocational Lessons, where Lodz vocational schools, among others, will present themselves in the form of workshops.

Thanks to fruitful cooperation with the Lodz Center for Teachers' Improvement and Practical Education, there will also be an extensive offer of conferences, workshops and seminars aimed at teaching staff. In addition, all visitors will be able to take advantage of career counseling points, where specialists from the Labor Market Observatory for Education will conduct measurements of professional predispositions. Consultations aimed at helping young people to consciously plan their educational and professional paths, in accordance with their interests and predispositions will also be provided by specialists from the Psychological-Pedagogical Clinic for Youth and the Specialized Psychological-Pedagogical Clinic for Professional Counseling and for Children with Developmental Disabilities in Lodz.
