Łódź has once again become the capital of comics, games, and pop culture! On September 27–28, 2025 , the 36th edition of the International Festival of Comics and Games (MFKiG) took place . It is the largest event of its kind in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
For two days , the Atlas Arena, Sport Arena, and Władysław Król Municipal Stadium were bustling with activity—visitors had the chance to meet their favorite creators, get autographs, participate in workshops and lectures, and discover new comic book releases. The retro and indie gaming zones, cosplay tournaments, and the comic book and merchandise fair also drew huge crowds, attracting thousands of participants as they do every year.
The festival featured world-class creators, including Bill Sienkiewicz, Enrico Marini, JP Ahonen, Keum Suk Gendry-Kim, Sean Murphy, and many Polish artists and publishers. It was a unique opportunity to meet legends and discover new talent.
There were plenty of activities for the little ones as well—contests, family zones, and workshops made the MFKiG, as always, an event for all generations.
