CAVALIADA, one of Europe’s most prestigious equestrian sports series, is coming to Łódź for the first time. The inaugural edition at Atlas Arena will take place from January 29 to February 1, 2026. During the press conference, a letter of intent was signed, officially opening a new chapter in the CAVALIADA Tour calendar.
– Today, Łódź is a city that hosts events all year round. In 2024, nearly 4.7 million tourists visited us—a historic figure that shows we are becoming a dynamic hub for culture, sports, and urban hospitality. CAVALIADA at Atlas Arena is the next step in developing our year-round offerings—even during the off-season. And if anyone is wondering whether it’s worth visiting Łódź in January? Our answer is: absolutely. And best of all… on horseback! – saysHanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź.
The decision to include Łódź in this prestigious series is the result of the City’s and MAKiS’s commitment, as well as their collaboration with the MTP Group—the organizer of the CAVALIADA Tour.Atlas Arena, which can seat over 13,000 spectators, will become the venue for competitions featuring athletes from across Europe.
“For years, we’ve been building a close-knit community that has been signaling the need for changes to the schedule. We were looking for a location with the best possible transportation links to meet the needs of all groups associated with CAVALIADA—including spectators, fans, and riders alike. Łódź meets these criteria,” emphasizesJakub Patelka, director of the CAVALIADA Tour.
The program will feature competitions in four main disciplines: show jumping (CSI3* level), dressage, eventing, and driving. These will be complemented by special competitions—including Speed & Music and the Relay—as well as the amateur RESPECT ENERGY Open Tour.
