The Gortat Team vs. NATO Team Showdown is more than just a basketball game. It’s an exciting event that combines sports with a charitable cause. This year, the organizers have prepared many attractions for both younger and older fans. Once again, before the game starts, starting at 12:00 p.m., there will be an exhibition of military equipment in front of Atlas Arena, and the Gortat Team will parade down Piotrkowska Street, giving fans the chance to see the stars up close.
– I’m really excited that, once again, my MG13 Foundation and I will be organizing the Gortat Team vs. NATO Team All-Star Game in my hometown of Łódź. This is a special moment for me because, even though I’ve retired from professional sports, I still see tremendous interest in this event. Last year, we managed to sell out all the tickets, which was a huge honor for me. I hope that this year we’ll repeat that success and once again put on an unforgettable show. What’s more, this year soldiers from the Special Forces will join the NATO team, which will add an extra twist to this match. We’re counting on passionate cheering and a great atmosphere! ” says Marcin Gortat, the event organizer and founder of the MG13 Foundation.
