Atlas Arena Sets Attendance Record in the First Half of 2026
More than 250,000 people visited Atlas Arena in the first six months of 2026. Record attendance, sold-out concerts by international stars, and a growing number of tourists show that Łódź is making an increasingly strong mark on Poland’s concert scene.
A quarter of a million participants and 32 events in half a year
The first half of 2026 turned out to be a record-breaking period for Atlas Arena. From January through the end of June, the Łódź venue hosted 32 events that drew more than 250,000 attendees. As many as six events were completely sold out.
The stage featured some of the world’s biggest stars, including Kings of Leon, Andre Rieu, Deftones, Ken Carson, Wu-Tang Clan, Raye, Alphaville, NE-YO & AKON, and 5 Seconds of Summer. The audience was also drawn by Poland’s biggest names, including FRIENDZ and the anniversary concert “50 Years of Agnieszka Chylińska & Guests.”
The Polish rock star’s anniversary concert, broadcast on TVN, was one of the most significant events of the first half of the year. The concert “50 Landmark Polish Hip-Hop Songs,” which brought together leading figures from the Polish rap scene on one stage, also drew a great deal of interest.
Not just concerts. Sports and entertainment at Atlas Arena
The Atlas Arena’s calendar was also filled with prestigious sports and entertainment events. In the first half of the year, the following events took place, among others:
- Cavaliada,
- ORLEN Cup,
- DOZ Łódź Marathon,
- The Big Game: Gortat Team vs. NATO Team Air Force,
- Polish Cabaret Night,
- Stand-up Festival.
In total, the events took up as many as 90 production days, which means that for half of the first half of the year, the venue was used for event preparation or execution.
Atlas Arena is larger than the population of Gdynia
The number of visitors best illustrates the scale of its success. In just six months, more than 250,000 people passed through Atlas Arena—more than the population of Gdynia.
This shows just how important a hub Łódź has become for the concert, sports, and entertainment industries.
Record-breaking reach on social media
The popularity of the events also translated into online results. In the first half of 2026, the Atlas Arena community on TikTok grew by as much as 345 percent, marking the highest growth rate in the venue’s history.
The venue’s social media profiles, including Instagram and Facebook, currently reach up to 2 million users per month. The most popular content included concerts by international stars, sold-out events, and behind-the-scenes footage of the organization of major productions.
Events That Drive Tourism in Łódź
The record attendance at Atlas Arena is also having a tangible impact on the local economy. Data from the Łódź Tourist Organization show that the number of domestic tourists visiting Łódź in the first half of 2026 increased by 13 percent compared to the same period last year .
The biggest concerts led to very high hotel occupancy rates, which ranged from 85 to 97 percent.
Highest Hotel Occupancy Rates During Events at Atlas Arena
- “50 Years of Agnieszka Chylińska & Guests” – 97 percent,
- "The Great Return of Friendz" – 96 percent,
- 5 Seconds of Summer – 93 percent,
- “50 Landmark Songs in the History of Polish Hip-Hop” – 92 percent,
- Kings of Leon – 90 percent,
- Ken Carson – 88 percent,
- RAYE – 85 percent
This confirms that an increasing number of event participants are coming to Łódź from other regions of Poland, thereby supporting the local hotel, restaurant, and tourism sectors.
Investments Expand Atlas Arena's Capabilities
The growing number of events goes hand in hand with infrastructure development. In the first half of the year, the venue’s capacity was increased to 14,728 seats, and a modern curtain system and mobile bleachers were installed, making it possible to stage even more demanding productions.
In the second half of the year, plans are in place to modernize the backstage facilities and the warm-up area. These investments are intended to improve the handling of major events and strengthen Atlas Arena’s position as one of the most modern sports and entertainment venues in Poland.
The second half of 2026 looks set to be even stronger
Atlas Arena is set for another event-packed few months. Among others, Marilyn Manson, Scorpions, Deep Purple, Placebo, Hollywood Vampires, Jungle, Pitbull, and A$AP Rocky—who will perform two concerts—will take the stage in Łódź.
Polish artists will also take the stage, including OKI, Mrozu, and Coma.
The calendar will also feature sports and family events, including:
- Polish Handball Super Cup,
- The Harlem Globetrotters,
- Freestyle Heroes,
- Hot Wheels Stunt Show.
After a record-breaking first half of the year, all signs point to 2026 potentially being one of the best years in Atlas Arena’s history in terms of attendance, and Łódź will further solidify its position as one of Poland’s most important centers for music and sports events. See the summary HERE
