On August 29, Atlas Arena will host the Polish Handball Super Cup. Łódź will welcome the best Polish men’s and women’s teams, and the organizers have just begun the accreditation process for media representatives.
Two matches for the Polish Super Cup
The sporting action will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the women’s match. KGHM Zagłębie Lubin —the reigning Polish champions and Polish Cup winners—will face off against PGE MKS El-Volt Lublin, the national runners-up and the most successful club in the history of Polish women’s handball.
Tonight at 7:00 p.m., the men’s teams will compete for the Polish Super Cup. Industria Kielce, the reigning Polish champions and defending titleholders, will face off against the Polish Cup winner, ORLEN Wisła Płock. The two most successful teams in Polish handball will thus meet on the court at Atlas Arena.
Accreditations for the media
The accreditation process for the event is now open. Applications may be submitted until Thursday, August 27, at 12:00 p.m., exclusively through the Superliga Press Office.
Accreditation covers both meetings. Simply submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation—decisions will be communicated individually to the email addresses provided in the application. Applications submitted in any other form will not be considered.
Detailed information regarding the accreditation process, the Press Office’s regulations, and the rules for granting accreditation is available on the Superliga website.
