A concert by the “Slask” Song and Dance Ensemble showcasing the beauty of national culture and the richness of regional heritage. The show consists of folk songs and dances characteristic of various regions of Poland, enriched with national dance choreography. The majority of the program features compositions or musical arrangements by Stanisław Hadyna and choreography by Elwira Kaminska—the creative duo behind the “Slask” ensemble. The program includes popular pieces by Stanisław Hadyna, such as“Karolinka,”“Szła dzieweczka,” and“Hej, te nasze góry,” as well as musical arrangements of dances such as“Trojak,”“Kujawiak-Oberek,” and“Polonez-Mazur.”
The ensemble’s professional performances of folk and national songs and dances have long served as a showcase for Poland on stages around the world, making the ensemble an ambassador of Polish national culture.
