The Polish National Team and Its Successes
The Polish women’s national volleyball team will compete as the tournament host. The White-and-Reds have been regulars on the Nations League podium for the past two years—in 2023 they won bronze (defeating the U.S. 3–2), and in 2024 they claimed bronze again after defeating Brazil in the third-place match. Now, our players, led by coach Stefano Lavarini, will have the chance to compete for another medal in front of their home crowd. Polish volleyball players have celebrated successes at Atlas Arena many times before, which serves as additional motivation for the team and the fans. On Sunday, the Polish women’s national volleyball team won the bronze medal in the Nations League for the third time in a row. This was achieved thanks to the white-and-red team’s 3-1 victory over Japan (25-15, 24-26, 25-16, 25-23).
This historic event captured the attention of fans from around the world, offering a unique opportunity to cheer on the Polish national team as it competed for medals in front of its home crowd. For a few days, Atlas Arena once again became the heart of world volleyball—filled with excitement, athletic competition, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event happen, to the athletes who gave it their all, and to you—the best fans in the world!
