ABOUT THE EVENT
Hans Zimmer is the creator of some of the most popular and influential film scores of all time. An 11-time Oscar nominee (most recently in 2018 for “Dunkirk”), the composer has pioneered a new approach to live film music performances. The previous “Hans Zimmer Live” tour, which traveled the world between 2014 and 2019, surprised both audiences and critics alike. Instead of a maestro’s performance or film scene projections, Hans Zimmer took the stage as a musician moving between the orchestra, choir, band, and audience, unleashing incredible energy in the process. That is why “Hans Zimmer Live – Europe Tour 2022” is another opportunity to see both an extraordinary show and the master Hans Zimmer in his element.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hans Zimmer has composed the music for over 200 films, which have collectively grossed more than $28 billion at the box office worldwide. The composer has been recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, winning an Oscar, as well as two Golden Globes, three Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, and a Tony Award. He has collaborated with many world-renowned directors on films such as “Widows,” “12 Years a Slave” (12 Years a Slave)” by Steve McQueen, “Blade Runner 2049” by Denis Villeneuve, and the aforementioned “Dunkirk” by Christopher Nolan. Other notable Zimmer productions include “Gladiator,” “The Thin Red Line,” “As Good as It Gets,” “Rain Man,” the “Dark Knight” trilogy, “Inception,” “Thelma & Louise,” “Black Hawk Down,” and “The Last Samurai.” Hans Zimmer also recorded the soundtrack for the latest “The Lion King” remake, for which he received a Grammy nomination for Best Soundtrack Album for Visual Media. Zimmer’s upcoming projects include “Wonder Woman 1984,” the next James Bond film “No Time to Die,” and “Dune.”
